Six topics, from your first class to teacher training
I have never done yoga. Where do I start?
Book one private session or the Foundations programme. We go through the basic shapes slowly so you feel at ease in any group class afterwards.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothes and water. Mats, blocks, straps and blankets are in the studio and cleaned after every class.
When should I arrive?
Ten minutes early the first time. Inés shows you the changing room, sets up your mat with you and asks about anything she should know.
Can I practise with an injury?
Often yes, with your doctor's or physio's go-ahead. Tell Inés before class and she will give you alternatives for every pose.
I am not flexible. Is that a problem?
No. Flexibility is something the practice builds, not something you need to start. Most people who walk in say the same thing.
Are classes in English or Spanish?
Both. Inés teaches in Spanish and switches to English whenever someone in the room needs it, and private sessions run in whichever you prefer.
How do I book a class?
Choose a time on the timetable and book with your pack or plan. You get a confirmation email with the address and what to bring.
How far ahead can I book?
Seven days with a drop-in, 14 days with a pack or the 4 and 8 a month plans, and 21 days with Unlimited.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancel up to 12 hours before a group class or 24 hours before a private session and the class goes back to your pack.
What if I miss a class without cancelling?
The class is used. Life happens, so the first missed class on each pack comes back if you write to Inés the same day.
How does the waitlist work?
Join it from any full class. When a mat frees up you get an email and have two hours to confirm before it goes to the next person.
How big are the group classes?
Eight mats, never more. Inés can see everyone, learns your name in the first class and adjusts you by hand if you are happy with that.
How much is the first class?
Ten euros for any group or online class, once per person. If you buy a pack within a week, the €10 counts towards it.
How long is a pack valid?
The 5-class pack lasts two months and the 10-class pack four months. Write a week before it expires and Inés extends it once by a month.
Pack or monthly plan?
Packs suit a changing week. Monthly plans suit a routine and cost less per class. You can switch between them whenever you like.
How do I pay?
By card online, or by card, Bizum or cash at the studio. You get a receipt by email every time.
Do you offer discounts?
Students, over-65s and anyone out of work get 20% off any pack. Show a card or a document at your first class.
Can I stop a monthly plan?
Yes, with seven days notice and no fee. The 8 a month and Unlimited plans can also be frozen for two weeks a year.
How do online classes work?
You get a private video link after booking. Classes are live, last 60 minutes and use only a mat, a cushion and a belt.
Do I need my camera on?
Only if you want feedback. With the camera on, Inés watches your shapes and gives cues by name; with it off, you simply follow along.
Can I watch a class later?
Every live online class is recorded and stays in your account for 48 hours, so a late meeting does not cost you the class.
Can I mix studio and online classes?
Yes. Drop-ins, packs and the monthly plans work in the studio and online, so you can come to Ruzafa on Tuesday and join from home on Thursday.
What is in the members area?
Your pack balance, upcoming bookings and a library of short home sequences, filtered by length and by focus: back, hips, sleep, energy and breath.
What do I need at home?
A mat, a firm cushion and a belt or scarf. Two thick books work as blocks. A quiet corner of two by three metres is plenty.
Who are private sessions for?
Beginners who want a calm start, people coming back from injury, pregnancy or a busy season, and anyone who wants a practice built around their own body.
Where do privates take place?
At the studio in Ruzafa, at your home anywhere in Valencia city, or online. Home visits outside the city add a small travel fee.
How much does a private cost?
€65 for 60 minutes, or five sessions for €300. Members on the 8 a month and Unlimited plans get 10 or 15% off.
What happens in the first session?
A short conversation about your body and your week, then a gentle practice. You leave with a written 20-minute routine for home.
Can I share a private with a friend?
Yes. Up to three people can share a session for €85 in total, which is a lovely way to start together.
How much notice do I need to cancel?
24 hours. Inside that window the session is used, unless you are ill, in which case we simply move it.
Who is the 200-hour training for?
Committed students with at least a year of regular practice, whether you want to teach or simply go much deeper. Eight trainees per cohort.
When does the training run?
Either six months of weekends from September to February, or a four-week intensive in July. Both cover the same 200 hours.
How much does it cost?
From €2,900, with an early-booking price and a plan of six monthly payments. A deposit of €400 holds your place.
Is it certified?
The course follows the Yoga Alliance 200-hour standard. When the school is registered as an RYS 200, graduates can register as an RYT 200.
Do I need to do advanced poses?
No. We look for curiosity and steady practice, not handstands. Teaching well starts with understanding bodies, not performing shapes.
How do I apply?
Fill in the short application on the teacher training page. Inés reads it and books a 20-minute call to talk it through.
